Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, also recently had some things to say about the importance of the Texas Bullet Train Project. In fact at a recent meeting of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce he called the Bullet Train project a “Game Changer” for the region, echoing comments made by Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner at the 85th US Conference of Mayors. Mayor Rawlings also encouraged attendees at the event to continue to “think big” and “never let small-minded thinking get in the way of vision,” citing the successes of DFW airport and the DART light rail system as examples.
